Rob Paetow
Co-Founder
President

Rob was born in Hagerstown, Md. in 1976 and raised in Chambersburg, PA where he eventually attended and graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School.  While in high school, Rob was a member of the baseball and football teams.

Rob graduated with a Associates Degree from Montgomery College in Rockville, Md., where he played on a nationally ranked junior college baseball team for 2 years.

He continued his education and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology Corrections from California State University at Fresno (Fresno State).  During his 2 years he played baseball and was a catcher for one of the top pitching staffs in the nation, which included a first and second round draft pick.

 

Throughout the past 20 years, Rob has spent his career helping youth against the challenges of addiction, behavioral health issues, and delinquency.  In addition, Rob has served in many volunteer coaching positions. Rob believes that athletics provide the purest form of experiential education to our youth.  He believes the opportunity for each youth to face challenges and reach success through his or her own hard work is critical in shaping their future.

Katy Paetow
Co-Founder
Vice-President

Katy was born in Northridge, CA in 1979.  She moved around with her airline family until settling in Carmel, IN where she graduated from Carmel High School.  While attending high school Katy was a 3 year starter on the softball team.  Her senior year she helped lead the team to an undefeated regular season and the State Championship game where they finished as State Runner ups.  She was also honored by being voted as a member of the North- South All State team.

After graduation, Katy went to Fresno State on a softball scholarship. She ended up receiving a medical redshirt due to a broken wrist.  She then transferred to The University of Florida again on a softball scholarship.  Katy and her sister played out the rest of her career at UF.  Katy received The Coaches Award for her leadership qualities and work ethic in 2001.  Her team also went to the SEC Tournament finishing among the top 3 teams in the SEC in 2001 and 2002.  Katy received her degree from UF in Recreation, Program and Delivery.

Katy and her family have all been involved in baseball/softball at the highest levels.  Her sister, Breanne, played out their careers together at UF.  Her brother, Garrett, was drafted out of high school as the number one pick by the Florida Marlins.

Upon graduation, Katy got married and moved to PA.  She completed her teacher certification and has been teaching ever since.  As a teacher for 13 years, Katy has spent a great deal of time with elementary age youth.  She has also coached several sports teams.  Katy is an assistant coach of the Varsity softball team for Chambersburg High School.  She has a great passion for empowering youth to reach their potential in all areas of their lives.  Sports has been one of the most amazing experiences of her life and has taught her core values
that she is excited to share with the youth she comes in contact with.

Joe Mullen
Director

Joe Mullen is Co-Owner and Director of JKM Training, Inc. based in Carlisle, PA.  His company provides training and consultation services specializing in aggressive behavior management to schools and social service organizations across the country and around the world. 

 

He attended Shippensburg University where he played baseball for 4 years and graduated with a degree in Public Administration.  While at Shippensburg, Joe met his wife Stacie who is a teacher in the Chambersburg Area School District.  The two enjoyed the area so much they decided to reside in Shippensburg. 

 

Joe continued his baseball playing career for many years with the Shippensburg Stars and Orioles up until his children, Tyler 14 and Riley 12, were old enough to start playing sports.  He has continued with his passion for sports by coaching, mentoring and inspiring young local athletes for the past several years.  In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors and playing golf.  Joe is also a member of the Shippensburg Area Athletic Association, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support for all amateur athletics in the Shippensburg area.

Amy Stockslager
Director

Amy Stockslager was born  and raised in Altoona Pennsylvania.  She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She later attended Wilkes University and graduated with a Masters Degree in Educational Strategies and Practices.  Her past work experience has been Middle School teacher and Nursery School Director.  She currently teaches kindergarten in the Chambersburg Area School District.

Amy currently resides in Fayetteville,  PA with her husband Toby and their four children.  Amy's philosophy is that it takes a village to raise a child and the more good people in that village the better.   The Athletes Impact Gator organization was the perfect fit for her and her family,  focusing on learning the game of softball, developing good sportsmanship, instilling values,  and volunteering in the community.  These important components focus on teaching young people to be a positive impact in their community and a productive member of society.
